Terms of Service

1. The service

Free Domain Authority Checker reports domain metrics such as Domain Authority, Page Authority, Trust Flow, Citation Flow, spam score, domain age, WHOIS records and technical health checks. Everyone gets 10 free domain checks a day, including bulk checks of up to 10 domains at a time. Paid check packs unlock features such as side-by-side comparison.

Domain Authority, Page Authority and Spam Score come from Moz; Trust Flow and Citation Flow come from Majestic; website age, WHOIS and technical checks come from our own live checks. Moz and Majestic are trademarks of their owners, and we are not affiliated with them. Metrics are provided for research and comparison, can change whenever those sources update their data, and are not a guarantee of search rankings, traffic or any business outcome.

2. Accounts

• You must give a valid email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to buy a check pack.
• One person or organization per account. Don't share accounts or resell access.
• You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard.

3. Check packs and payment

Check packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions: Starter (3,000 checks for $10), Pro (10,000 checks for $30), Agency (80,000 checks for $100). One check is used each time a paid feature checks one domain. Checks are added to your account after payment is confirmed. Checks that fail for technical reasons are returned to your balance.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Prices are shown in US dollars and may include or exclude sales tax or VAT depending on where you are; the final price is shown at checkout.

4. Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. In short, unused packs can be refunded within 14 days of purchase.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, crawl or query the service automatically beyond normal use, or work around rate limits;
• resell, republish or build a competing service from our data;
• attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service or other accounts;
• use the service for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm others.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Unused checks on accounts closed for abuse are not refunded.

6. Intellectual property

The website, its design, text and software belong to [Your legal or company name]. Reports you generate may be used for your own research and shared with your clients or colleagues.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but don't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. If we discontinue paid features, we will refund unused checks on a pro-rata basis.

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or decisions made using the metrics. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change, and for material changes we will notify account holders by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
